Single Anastomosis Duodeno-Ileal (SADI) surgery is a new form of weight-loss or bariatric surgery designed to help individuals with severe obesity achieve significant and sustained weight loss. It is a combination of a sleeve gastrectomy (where a portion of the stomach is removed) with an intestinal bypass. This approach limits food intake and reduces calorie absorption by rerouting the digestive tract.
