Ashutosh Kaul, MD MS FRCS FACSBoard-Certified General Surgeon
Ashutosh Kaul, MD, MS, FRCS, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon at Advanced Surgeons in Valhalla, New York. He is the Director of Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery at Westchester Medical Center. He is also the Program Director of Bariatric Surgery at Greenwich Hospital in Connecticut. Dr. Kaul has been performing minimally invasive surgery since 2000 and is a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.
He completed his fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at The Institute of Minimally Invasive Surgery in New York. Dr. Kaul is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and member of the Royal College of Surgeons. He is the past president of the New York state chapter of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
He was selected in the 2002 list of America's Top Minimally Invasive Surgeons by Consumers Research Council of America and is an honored member of Strathmore’s Who’s Who 2002-2003 Edition. In 1998 he was selected as an Outstanding Young Man of America in their 31st edition. He has been selected as Top Doctor NY Metro Area by Castle Connolly for the last six years and was honored with the Cutting-Edge Award at the Annual Westchester County Doctors of Distinction Awards in 2017.
Dr. Kaul is program co-director of minimally invasive fellowship training at New York Medical College. He is a gifted teacher, having trained more than three dozen fellows who have gone on to practice around the world.
