Janet Borra, RD, CDNRegistered Dietitian
Janet Borra, RD, CDN has been a Registered Dietitian for 27 years. She has worked with bariatric patients in the outpatient setting for the past 18 years. Prior to that, she worked at Westchester Medical Center for 9 years and part of her coverage included inpatient bariatric patients. In addition to counseling patients, Janet teaches the initial nutrition class and 5-week post op class. She also helps facilitate a monthly preop support group. Janet is also involved in providing nutritional education to patients in our non-surgical weight management program.
Janet enjoys working with this population and feels the most rewarding part of her job is seeing the changes that weight loss has on a patient’s quality of life. Janet is honored to be part of this process.
